Lani & Jeremy wanted an intimate event with their dearest friends. They selected Lakewold Gardens, a European-inspired venue located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest as their venue. Besides the beautiful English gardens, wisteria covered patio, and French-style chateau, Lani fell madly in love with the mural in the venue foyer. It became the inspiration behind much of the wedding design. The mural artwork was incorporated in the envelope liner of the invitation suite, the background of the escort display, and the bride’s bouquet was designed with wispy blooms to mimic the same texture and feel as those in the mural. One of the most beloved uses of the mural, however, was the gorgeous three-tier wedding cake. Hand made sugar flowers adored each layer, which was hand-painted to include the mural scene, complete with the sweet little bird represented in both pieces of artwork.

Lani & Jeremy are two of the sweetest, most thoughtful people I have had the pleasure working with. It was obvious from our first interaction that they love people well, and their wedding day was no exception. With fewer than 30 cherished guests, each person in attendance was so cherished by the couple. Intimate wedding days like this one hold a special place in my heart!
