A Lavender Farm Wedding in the PNW | Seattle Wedding Photographer Janet Lin Photography

Working with Megan & Sam throughout their wedding planning journey has been such a heartwarming and uplifting experience. Even as they faced postponing their wedding, changing their plans, and adapting over and over again due to the pandemic, they exuded love, joy, and grace and put others first. Every detail of their day was so thoughtfully curated, and the celebration we all waited so long for was everything and more they could have dreamed of.

Megan and Sam are opera lovers and hopeless romantics, and they found so many unique ways to incorporate details unique to them into their wedding at Kingston House. You can read all about the planning process and that day on Magnolia Rouge, where their wedding was recently published!

Most importantly, Megan & Sam created this day with their guests in mind. It was a day of ‘firsts’ for a lot of people who loved them; first big gathering since Covid, first hugs shared with friends since being apart, first visits from family from out of the country. Knowing how important it was for ALL of them made it that much more special to capture it all; grandma’s joy as she watched the ceremony, the most tender & emotional hug shared between Megan and her brother, Sam’s best friend placing a hand on his shoulder during the final prayer of their ceremony, a relative feeding his new little one amidst the lavender after flying in from overseas. It all felt uniquely meaningful and emotional.

I’ve said it before, but it is such an immense gift and honor to witness, capture, and share in the joy of these moments alongside couples who choose me. Thank you Megan and Sam, and congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Booth!
